The Barrie Colts hosted the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday night and exposed their former goalie Clint Windsor for four goals on 42 shots and went on to a 4-3 win in the shoot-out.

Norm Ezekiel, Zach Hall and Tanner Pearson scored for the Colts, while Colin Behenna added the shoot-out winner.

In the first period it was Norm Ezekiel finishing off a great pass from Chris Buonomo who centered the puck right through the crease where Ezekiel perfectly tipped home his fourth of the campaign for the lone goal of the opening frame.

The Spirit out-scored the Colts 2-1 in the second stanza starting with a Michael Fine power play goal that tied the game at one.

5:08 later Steven Beyers made a great pass to Hall who notched his 16th of the season, Alex Yuill also picked up an assist on the play as the Colts re-gained their lead.

Just 95 seconds later it was another familiar face who tied the game at two as Eric Locke scored in his return to Barrie from Trocheck and Walch.

The Spirit fired 19 shots on Alex Fotinos in the second period.  After 40 minutes the Colts out-shot the Spirit 30-29.

After the Spirit took the lead on a great short-handed effort by Brandon Saad the Colts would tie the game late with Fotinos pulled from the cage.

Pearson lined up for the face off to the right of Windsor and hammered the puck past his former teammate right off the draw, tying the game at three with 80 seconds left on the clock.

All three Barrie forwards scored on Windsor in the shoot-out as they edged Saginaw 3-2 in the extra session.  Mark Scheifele and Steven Beyers scored along with Behenna, while Saad and Carlos Amestoy scored for the Spirit.
