COLTS SET FOR BACK-TO-BACK GAMES

The Barrie Colts are set to play back-to-back games starting tonight in Oshawa where they will face the Generals at 7:35.

In they’re only meeting this season the Barrie Colts defeated Oshawa in a shootout 4 - 3. Both teams sit at the top of the Eastern Conference with the Barrie Colts leading the way at 27 points. The Colts power play continues to be lethal for opposing teams with a success rate of 31.3 %, good for second in the league. Mark Scheifele leads the team with 28 points in 17 games, while Mathias Niederberger leads all goalies with 12 wins.

For the fourth week in a row the Barrie Colts remain in the CHL’s top 10 rankings where they are 7th in the country. Following tonight’s game, the Barrie Colts will head home to face the Brampton Battalion tomorrow night November 10th at the Barrie Molson Center. This will be the third match up this season between the two teams, with both winning one game apiece.
