COLTS RAISE OVER $2,500 FOR MOVEMBER

December 01, 2011

The Colts finish 8th in the CHL in funds raised

The Barrie Colts have announced today that their Movember campaign brought in $2,717 that will go towards men’s health and specifically prostate cancer.

The Colts ranked eighth out of 60 teams in the Canadian Hockey League in money raised and fourth in the Ontario Hockey League behind Niagara, London and Guelph.

The final donation of $753 was made on Monday from the Barrie Colts fans that generously donated on the concourse at Barrie’s three home games in the month of November.

Leading the team was overage forward Victor Terreri who single-handedly pulled in a whopping $1,012.

The Barrie Colts would like to thank everybody who generously donated online through our Movember account or on the concourse at our home games.

The Barrie players will be shaving their moustaches off Thursday at 4:00 p.m. following their practice.

The Colts lost Wednesday night in Owen Sound and head to Erie and Niagara this weekend.
