Team Canada will look to improve to 2-0 in pre-tournament play at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship in Alberta when they take on Team Switzerland Thursday night in Red Deer.

Canada fell behind Team Finland but mounted a comeback and skated to a 3-1 victory in their first tune-up game on Monday night.

Colts forwards Tanner Pearson and Mark Scheifele were held pointless while skating on the top line with Anaheim Ducks and former Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors forward Devante Smith-Pelly.

Boone Jenner, Mark Stone and Brendan Gallagher scored for the red and white while Mark Visentin picked up the win in net.

This is the second of three exhibition games Team Canada will play; they finish their pre-tournament schedule against Sweden on Friday, and then open up against Team Finland on Boxing Day at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Team Canada is in Pool B with USA, Denmark, Finland and the Czech Republic.
