Zach Hall and the Colts skated to a 5-3 win over Erie
The Barrie Colts wrapped up their season series with the Erie Otters Saturday night to close out 2011.
Barrie scored twice in the second and added another pair in the third and picked up their second straight win, as they won two of three games this week.
Daniel Erlich led the way for Barrie with four assists as he was in on four of the five Barrie goals in their 5-3 victory.
Dylan Smoskowitz, Alex Lepkowski, Colin Behenna, and Eric Locke all scored for Barrie. Reid McNeill had a goal and an assist, while Chris Buonomo had a pair of helpers.
The Otters took a 3-2 lead midway through the third, but McNeill’s point shot on the power play beat Tyson Teichmann and squared the game at three.
Behenna scored the winner at the 9:11 mark of the third, Locke added the insurance three minutes later and the Colts end 2011 with a 5-3 win.
Mathias Niederberger started for the third straight game and stopped 26 shots for the win.
